Who we are

Mott Ave is a media and production company founded by Bryant Lydell – a writer and producer who’s produced for Disney+, FOX, NBC, Meta, BET+ and several other networks.

We specialize in developing and producing unscripted and scripted content for TV, Film and Digital. We also house The Top Tea - a positive Black pop culture blog with 300K+ followers founded by Bryant in 2014.

Mott Ave is named after Bryant’s grandmother Martha Sykes (1944-2023) nicknamed Mott. She was a visionary who was community-forward. This company and its work are in reverence to her impact on his life.
